Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Mega Setups (FZE), 156, Block C VL11, SRTI Park, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“Mega Setups”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers megasetups.ae, including our SnG partner page at megasetups.ae/sng/. For any privacy question, email sales@megasetups.ae.

We handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

2. What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect:

• your full name and email address;
• your phone or WhatsApp number, if you choose to give it;
• the service you are interested in, and on the SnG page, where you are based and your preferred free zone;
• the message you write to us;
• your IP address and the time of your enquiry, which we keep with the enquiry to block spam and misuse.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

3. How we use your data

• to reply to your enquiry and advise you on setting up your business in the UAE;
• to provide the services you ask us for;
• to protect our website from spam and misuse;
• to meet our obligations under UAE law.

We do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

4. Our legal basis

We process your data because you give us your consent when you send an enquiry, and because it is needed to take the steps you ask for before we agree a service with you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing sales@megasetups.ae.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with other companies for their own use.

• If you go ahead with a company setup: the licensing authority or free zone will need some of your details. We will tell you what is needed and share it only with your agreement.
• Service providers: our website host and email providers store and deliver your enquiry on our behalf, and only for that purpose.
• When the law requires it: we may disclose data to a UAE authority if we are legally required to.

6. Data stored outside the UAE

Our website host and email providers may store data on servers outside the UAE. We use established providers and keep what we store to the minimum needed to answer your enquiry.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and then delete it. If you become a client, we keep the records that UAE law requires for as long as it requires.

8. How we protect it

Our website runs over HTTPS, enquiry records are stored outside the public part of our web server, and only our team can access them. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict or stop using your data, including for any marketing;
• withdraw your consent.

Email sales@megasetups.ae with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to reply within 30 days.

10. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To show our fonts, your browser loads them from Google Fonts, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
